TRINEX 10% ORAL DRENCH

Indication:

Triclabendazole 100 mg/mL is a specific Fasciolocide indicated for the treatment and control of acute, subacute, and chronic fascioliosis in cattle. When used as recommended , Triclabendazole 100 mg/ml is effective against early immature & adult stages of liver flukes susceptible to triclabendazole.

Formulation:

Each mL contains:
Triclabendazole …...................……..100 mg

Dosage & Administration:

Triclabendazole 100 mg/mL is given as an oral drench & is suitable for most types of automatic drenching guns. Triclabendazole can be safely given to young, pregnant, or stressed non-lactating or dry cattle.

The recommended dose rate is 10 mg per kg body weight or 2 mL per 10 kg body weight OR as directed by the veterinarian.

The recommended dose rate is 12 mg per kg body weight OR as directed by the veterinarian.
If a preventive fluke dosing program is employed the occurrence of acute fluke is greatly reduced.

Precautions:

Animals should not be slaughtered for human consumption within 42 days of the last treatment. Only use for liver fluke strains susceptible to Triclabendazole. Careful estimation of body weight should be made. Do not treat lactating cows producing milk for human consumption or within 14 days of calving. If inefficacy is suspected seek veterinary advice. If suspected adverse drug reactions occur in treated animals, treatment should not be repeated. Care should be taken when dosing animals to avoid causing injury to the mouth and pharynx. Wash hands after use. Use unaltered from original containers. Clean drenching equipment before and after use. Dispose of used containers safely.
